Our story

 

We are Silver Circle, a husband and wife team based in New Zealand, with family in Western Cape, South Africa. For the past decade, we have been the adult children on the other side of the world — trying to do right by ageing parents while managing full lives here.

Between our two families, we have dealt with cancer, dementia, health scares, and financial and online scams targeting elderly parents who never saw it coming. We have also dealt with the quieter, grinding stuff — burst pipes, a leaking shower, utility bills in a mess, a car that needed sorting and nobody nearby to help. The big things and the everyday things. All of it managed from 11,000 kilometres away.

What we needed was never just a service. It was one trusted person — someone who knew our parents, noticed when something was off, and simply got things sorted.

That person didn't exist. So we built Silver Circle around them.

We're not filling a gap in the market. We're filling a gap we felt ourselves.

Between us we bring fifteen years of project management and engineering, procurement, commercial strategy, and real estate — all of it now in service of one simple goal: giving New Zealand families the peace of mind we wished we'd had.
